Enish, Finchley Road
Since Enish opened its first restaurant in 2013, their phenomenal success has led them to open 4 more restaurants globally, establishing themselves as a top destination for the vibrant West African communities in London and Dubai.
We collaborated with the owners of Enish on their first restaurant in Lewisham, but it was really on the second restaurant, located on London’s busy Finchley Road, that we had the opportunity to work with them to explore and establish their brand.
The restaurant flows over two and a half levels including a basement and mezzanine floor, combining open and private spaces to create a malfunctioning dining and party space. The illuminating feature wall in the basement is bespoke, giving the space a playful, club vibe, which is perfect for the private parties hosted there. The larch timber screening provides a more secluded space for guests on the mezzanine, which works well for the celebrities who frequent the restaurant.
The branding has been subtly reinforced throughout the various spaces by playing on lighting features, like the neon signage in the basement, and using super-graphics to pull out elements of their logo in the upper spaces.
