Diamond District Guyana (DDG) is a new residential quarter established by Devtraco Group and Bolans Architects.
Diamond District Guyana will provide a built community catering to the growing needs of the Guyanese population with the vision of creating a world-class environment that promotes sustainable smart living. DDG will seek to promote and nurture local, regional and global talent. The subject matter of the community is a key component of the strategy established by the Arfaan Ali administration.
Diamond District is an ecosystem dedicated to fostering the growth of the Guyanese housing expansion programme. DDG will provide accommodation (land and buildings) and services for a unique community style of living. The objectives of Diamond District are to:

The DDG masterplan is located on the East Bank of the Demerara River and is close to Central Georgetown. The site sits off the edge of the East Bank Public Road and is closely located to the Demerara Bridge. The masterplan is an ambitious plan which has been designed to meet the challenges of sustainability in the 21st century.
The masterplan echoes the aspiration of Guyanese governments plan to reflect the vision of Guyana as a modern, environmentally friendly country.
The Diamond District seeks to provide for seamless integration of the built environment, open spaces and people. The Diamond District Guyana will be multi-faceted and are accessible on foot. The Diamond District contain mixed-use areas serving a variety of activities including retail, sport and leisure and community facilities. The Diamond District sits within a gated environment with approximately 1,000m of prominent frontage dubbed ‘The High Street’ linking visitors and residents to the various neighbourhoods within the masterplan.
